If you want to extend your Nextcloud server with the advanced Nextcloud Office Suite features, you can purchase individual licenses for each user.

This way you only pay for the Office features for Nextcloud users who actually need them.

In this article we explain how to order Office Suite licenses and assign them to a Nextcloud user.

Step 1 - Click on 'Open Control Panel' under 'Active Products' (may also be under My Products)

Step 2 - Click on 'Upgrade/downgrade options' on the left.

Step 3 - Enter on the right how many licenses you want to purchase. With one license you can provide one Nextcloud user with Office Suite features.
The license costs €1 per month, you may see a different (lower) amount during the ordering process. This is because you only pay until the next due date of the package and not immediately for 12 months.
Continue to the next screen after entering the number of licenses.

Step 4 - Complete the order.

Step 5 - Go back to the control panel of your Nextcloud package, under 'Office Suite Licenses' you'll now see your new license(s) that you can assign to a user.
Scroll down to 'User Management' and enable Office Suite for the desired user(s), don't forget to save your changes afterwards.

Done! The licenses are now assigned and all Office Suite features are immediately available.
