What makes WebOké's hosting sustainable?
Planting trees - We exclusively use a sustainable bank. With every outgoing transaction we make, trees are planted. Thanks to WebOké, dozens of trees are planted each month - we even plant trees with our salary payments! Win-win.
Green energy - Our servers are located at two NorthC Datacenters locations, both of which run exclusively on green energy. The Aalsmeer data centre even has over 500 solar panels on its roof to generate part of its own electricity.
Waste heat recycling - The heat produced at the Aalsmeer data centre is put to good use - it's recycled by nearby businesses. A swimming pool, childcare centre and plant export company are all heated with it. In return, the data centre receives cool air back to keep our servers running at the right temperature.
