Which VPS plan suits me?

All VPS plans run on the same fast hardware in the Netherlands, with the same features: root access, daily backups, snapshots, graphs and a fixed IPv4 and IPv6 address. The difference is in computing power, memory and storage.

VPS One and VPS Two: shared vCPUs

Processor cores are shared fairly with other VPSs on the same server. In practice you will hardly notice: most servers are nearly idle most of the time. Great for:

  • One or a few websites or shops with average traffic
  • A VPN, a Git server, monitoring or a test environment
  • Docker with a handful of containers, a Minecraft server for friends

Power VPS Three and Four: CPU priority

With the Power plans your vCPUs get priority when the server is busy: they get a larger share of computing power than a regular vCPU, and we place fewer VPSs per processor core. That gives more stable speed, also at busy moments. Choose Power for:

  • Busy shops, databases and applications that must always respond quickly
  • Many Docker containers or heavy builds
  • Business applications where varying speed is not acceptable

How much memory do I need?

The Graphs tab with processor, memory, network and disk

  • 4 GB: a few websites with a database, or a light application.
  • 8 GB: several sites, a shop with many products, or a control panel.
  • 16 GB and more: large databases, many containers, heavy applications.

Bigger later?

No problem. Choose a bigger plan via My Products; you only pay the difference for the remaining period. Your data and IP address stay as they are.
