ICANN is sending me a Whois data reminder
Under ICANN rules, registrars are required to regularly (once a year) send an email containing the current details with which a domain is registered. Not all registrars are equally strict about this, by the way.
This email is correct and therefore genuine. However, never reply to emails like this. There is no need to. If the details in the email are not quite correct, you can change them in our administration.
The email may look like this:
This message is a reminder to help you keep the contact data associated with your domain registration up-to-date.
According to ICANN's Whois Data Reminder Policy, a registrar must present - at least annually - to the registrant the current Whois information, and remind the registrant that provision of false Whois information can be grounds for cancellation of their domain name registration. Registrants must review their Whois data and make any corrections, if necessary.
In your case, our records include the following information for the domain name listed below:
DOMAIN:XXXX.COM
RSP: Webawere Internet Solutions BV
URL: http://www.weboke.nl
