Nextcloud won't sync on my Mac

If Nextcloud doesn't want to sync on your Mac, you can try this to fix it:

1. Permissions: go to System Preferences > Privacy and Security > Files and folders (and also Full disk access). If Nextcloud is listed there, enable it. After a macOS update, this sometimes needs to be redone.

2. Sync folder: click on the Nextcloud cloud icon in the menu bar at the top. Is there a folder listed next to your account, and what message do you see? After reinstalling, you sometimes need to choose a folder again.

3. Finder: check in Finder under "Locations" on the left whether there's a "Nextcloud" listed there. Newer versions sometimes place your files there, instead of in your old folder. If it still doesn't work, send us a screenshot of the window that opens when you click on the Nextcloud cloud icon. That might show us what the app reports.

4. Remove the entire Nextcloud app from your Mac and reinstall it completely, including logging in again.
