Green power
Our servers are located at NorthC Data Centers in Aalsmeer and Oude Meer. Both run exclusively on green power; Aalsmeer has 500+ solar panels of its own.
Residual heat recycling

Planting trees
We only use a sustainable bank. Every outgoing transaction plants trees — dozens per month.

WebOké's fleet today consists exclusively of 100% electric cars.
Efficient modern hardware
Our servers run on modern NVMe SSDs and the latest generation processors. With LiteSpeed web servers we handle up to 3× more traffic on the same hardware as Apache. Better performance and capacity per watt, fewer machines, less power.
Flexible work culture
The WebOké team does not commute to an office daily. We work primarily from home or from co-work spaces near our team members. Less commuting, fewer emissions, better balance.

The primary location for our servers. Runs on 100% green power, with 500+ solar panels on the roof as an extra buffer. The residual heat warms a local swimming pool, day care center and plant export company.

Is the power really 100% green?
Yes. Our servers are located at NorthC Data Centers in Aalsmeer and Oude Meer. Both locations use green power exclusively. The Aalsmeer data center also has 500+ solar panels on the roof to generate part of the power itself.
What happens to the residual heat?
The heat produced by our servers in Aalsmeer is recycled by local businesses. A swimming pool, a day care center and a plant export company are all heated this way. In exchange, the data center receives cool air back to cool the servers.
How does the tree planting work?
We only use a sustainable bank. With every outgoing transaction — including our salary payments — trees are planted. That adds up to dozens of trees per month.
Do I pay more for green hosting?
No. Green hosting at WebOké costs the same as our regular hosting, because it IS our regular hosting. You don't need to do or pay anything extra. Check out our webhosting plans or email plans; both run on 100% green power by default.
How do I know this is real and not greenwashing?
NorthC Data Centers publishes an annual sustainability report that documents the energy source. The solar panels on Aalsmeer are physically on the roof. The residual-heat project is part of a public heating network — see for example the case study on nplw.nl about the energy exchange network in Aalsmeer (Dutch).
