WebOké takes many visible and invisible measures to minimize our ecological footprint. Our staff doesn't commute to the office in their cars every day, and we only use highly efficient hardware, but that's not all:
Planting Trees - We only use a sustainable bank. With every outgoing transaction we make, trees are planted. Thanks to WebOké, dozens of trees are planted every month, and we even plant trees with our salary payments! Win-win.
Green Power - Our servers are located in two NorthC Datacenters locations, both of which use only green energy. The Aalsmeer datacenter even has over 500 solar panels on its roof to generate its own electricity.
Waste Heat Recycling - The heat produced in the Aalsmeer datacenter is cleverly used. It's recycled by nearby businesses, heating a swimming pool, daycare center, and a plant export company. In return for this heat, the datacenter receives cool air to keep our servers cool.
